National Cabinet agreed to end the mandatory isolation requirements for COVID-19 effective from 14 October 2022. The Pandemic Leave Disaster Payment also ends on 14 October.

The rules for the Pandemic Leave Disaster Payment changed on 18 January 2022, updating the definition of a close contact in line with the harmonised national definition.
